Adding Number to 1000, Estimation Using Front End Addition - Distance Learning

It begins with a warm up of ordering numbers from greatest to least and gives the answers on the following slide.

It then begins with estimating the sum using rounding and then solving that equation using front end addition.

Each slide is set up so that the information appears one at a time so that your students can work along with you on a whiteboard or a scratch piece of paper.

The lesson ends with 4 slides of multiple questions and a justification for the choosen answer.
