Description

I created the Adding Decimal Fractions Written Assessment when teaching the 4.NF.5 standard.

This assessment includes the expectations of the 4.NF.5 standard and mathematical practices as well as a rubric for the students performance. The 12 questions are in the form of word problems and students are also asked to fill the model to show the answer.

All Of My Resources Are Common Core Aligned (But Also Work Great For Those Using Other Standards):
You can feel confident that you are comprehensively teaching your students every skill in the standard with my resources, as all have been designed from the ground up to align to the CCSS. Whilst my resources have specifically been designed for 4th Grade, most will also be most applicable to higher ability students in grade 3 and lower ability students in grade 5.

Your Feedback Is Highly Valued and Much Appreciated.
I hope your students enjoy this resource and that it gives you a bit of time back in your busy life.
Please take the time to provide some feedback ☺

Express a fraction with denominator 10 as an equivalent fraction with denominator 100, and use this technique to add two fractions with respective denominators 10 and 100. For example, express 3/10 as 30/100, and add 3/10 + 4/100 = 34/100.
