    Description

Unleash the power of learning through play with this Adventure Math Board Games Bundle! This fun-filled pack is perfect for math centers, designed specifically to boost addition and subtraction fluency within 20.

This bundle offers four captivating themes:

(Click on the links above to find out more about the individual sets)

Each theme transports children into a world filled with magical creatures, lush jungles, and enchanted fairy tales, making math practice an exciting quest for knowledge!

Each themed set contains seven vibrant & exciting board games. The games are designed to engage children and fuel their imaginations while they practice their math skills. But that's not all! We understand that every child is unique in their learning journey, and so each game comes in three differentiated math versions. This allows children at different skill levels to enjoy the games at a pace that suits them, encouraging progressive learning and mastery over time.

    Color and Black/White Options

The color print options are ideal if you plan on laminating the games to be reused. However, if color ink is not an option, there are also black/white/greyscale pages for each game.

    Digital Options

If you want to save paper, these games can be played digitally via Easel.

    Extra Materials Required:

    • Dice
    • Counters (or something similar)
    • Pencils/crayons

    Preparation

    • Print and play games.
    • Some of the games contain fun digital character moveable pieces on Easel.
    • Print the games or set them up digitally to assign to your students.
    • Optional: Laminate if you plan to reuse or make copies if using like a worksheet
    • Materials required: dice, counters, and player pieces (pencils/crayons if used like a worksheet). You will still need dice for the digital option (or use virtual dice online).

Suggestion: I recommend discussing and modeling how to play the games as a class before assigning.

    Rank & Rewards System

This is an optional extra if you would like to increase the fun factor. Students achieve levels and special ‘image’ items as they win games. I've included two ways to use this system. It is also available digitally via Easel.

Math practice becomes a thrilling adventure with the Adventure Math Board Games Bundle. Children will love exploring new worlds and collecting treasures while improving their addition and subtraction skills. Make math centers the highlight of their day with this engaging game bundle. Learning has never been this fun!

Count to 100 by ones and by tens.
    Add and subtract within 20, demonstrating fluency for addition and subtraction within 10. Use strategies such as counting on; making ten (e.g., 8 + 6 = 8 + 2 + 4 = 10 + 4 = 14); decomposing a number leading to a ten (e.g., 13 - 4 = 13 - 3 - 1 = 10 - 1 = 9); using the relationship between addition and subtraction (e.g., knowing that 8 + 4 = 12, one knows 12 - 8 = 4); and creating equivalent but easier or known sums (e.g., adding 6 + 7 by creating the known equivalent 6 + 6 + 1 = 12 + 1 = 13).
Fluently add and subtract within 20 using mental strategies. By end of Grade 2, know from memory all sums of two one-digit numbers.
