Are you looking for a way to reach your special needs students while you are distance learning? These fun, interactive task cards are just what you need to engage your students while they are practicing life skills. It can be used as a whole group activity, as a learning center, as an independent activity, and more!


This digital version of my Adapted Book Unit: George Washington. The first 9 slides are the adapted book. Then the next 5 slides ask students to answer comprehension questions. The final slide is a picture sort, where they sort 8 pictures into 2 categories (Things about George Washington and Abraham Lincoln). If you are looking for the physical resource, visit my TpT store. If you already own this printable from my TpT store, this will be included in the Adapted Book unit at no additional cost. Each slide has audio where it will read aloud the book or the questions.

These cards can be played on any digital device (iPads, SmartBoard, Chromebook, computers) with an internet connection. They are perfect for whole group and small group instruction as well as literacy centers, stations, morning work, assessment, extra practice, etc!

For security and privacy, adults must have a Boom Learning account to use and assign Boom Cards. You will be able to assign the Boom Cards you are buying with "Fast Pins," (play provides instant feedback for self-grading Boom Cards). Fast Play is always a free way for students to engage with Boom Cards decks. For additional assignment options, you'll need a premium account.
