This online professional development course will explore the many different ways students can make their own notes in Social Studies. We will examine how to combine the note making process with Social Studies skills.
This course will be broken up into 3 different parts – the first of which is a 20 minute video on how to create Active Notes! Be sure to print the handouts to accompany the video. After you have finished watching this video, you will move on to the second part, which is looking at more examples of note making strategies. I have created an Active Notes! manual full of ideas for you to look at. The 3rd part is creation. You will create your own lesson based on a different note making strategy.
This online workshop includes:
