This is an ActivInspire close reading literature study on “Mañana Iguana" by Ann Whitford Paul. All reading comprehension activities are aligned with common core standards for reading literature K-2.

- First, you will need to read the book "The Little Red Hen" (any version).Then, read the book "Manana, Iguana" by Ann Whitford Paul (in order to use RL.9 - compare/contrast activities).

- You can print the flipchart pages, if you desire. Make the charts white to save ink. Or your students can type or draw the answers on the flipchart at the computer lab as a whole group.
