Accounting T Account Task Cards

These 30 task cards are a great way to reinforce T accounts in your accounting class. Included in this 14 page pdf are instructions, 30 different transactions, student answer sheets, and an answer key.

Included Instructions:

1. Print one copy of the instruction task cards (pages 2-6). These can be printed on colored paper, cardstock, or laminated for repeated use.
2. Spread the instruction task cards around the room. I tape mine to the walls in the hallway or put them on different desks, depending on the size of my class. This is an easy way to incorporate movement in your classroom.
3. Print out enough recording sheets (pages 7-10) for your students. I have my students work with partners, so I only print one set per group.
4. Have students go around and record their answers on their answer sheets. You can then grade them, check for accuracy, or go over all of them as a class.
5. Pages 11-14 are the answers.
