The titles in the Piano and Laylee Learning Adventures Series are resources for educators and parents wanting to introduce digital citizenship concepts to children aged 5–9. In school, Piano logs into a game using Laylee’s password, which prompts their teacher, Miss Paige, to use this instance as a teachable moment on the school’s Acceptable Use Policy (AUP). The class learns what an AUP is and why it is so important.

This series was originally published by the International Society for Technology in Education (ISTE) in 2011. As a result of a change in mission, they will not be re-printing the series and have very kindly transferred full rights and privileges for the series to me, the author. I very much appreciate everything ISTE has done to help facilitate both the initial printing and the transfer of rights.
