The 33 Boom Cards will reinforce students’ understanding of identifying the sounds of the letters of the alphabet.

►►VALENTINE'S DAY THEMED ACTIVITY

Students will feed Biggy Mouth Love Mailbox by dragging and dropping the correct letter whose sound they hear. The sound of each letter will be automatically sounded out.

Students also have the option to listen to the letter sound again by clicking on the sound icon.

► The activity focuses on identifying both short and long sounds of vowels and sounds of consonants.

✅ The first card provides students with instructions to complete the task.

✅ In consecutive cards, students drag and drop the correct letter that represents the sound. Students also have the option to listen to the letter sounds.

✅ The final card indicates the end of the activity.

HOW IT WORKS
⚫ You will find a link to the digital Boom Cards in a pdf file on download. By clicking on the link, you will be directed to the Boom Learning website.

⚫ Set up an account with Boom Learning (if you are new to the site) to add this resource to your library.

⚫ You may set up a classroom to assign these cards to your students or generate a ‘Fast Pin’ or a ‘Hyperplay’ link to share via your online learning platform similar to Google Classroom and the like.
