Description

Through this book, my goal is to help families and educators make sense of Individualized Education Programs and 504 plans in order to be more equipped to navigate each process.

Since IEPs and 504s are not written in plain language, it is my charge to make sure that families and educators understand the purpose of these plans, the laws that cause these plans to come into effect, and the importance of parental and familial involvement throughout the process.

I want to make sure that educators and families better understand the process and evaluation as a whole and offer resources to encourage and empower individuals to advocate for their student’s educational needs.

Compose two-dimensional shapes (rectangles, squares, trapezoids, triangles, half-circles, and quarter-circles) or three-dimensional shapes (cubes, right rectangular prisms, right circular cones, and right circular cylinders) to create a composite shape, and compose new shapes from the composite shape.
