Explanation: The aim of Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) is to improve communication. Since CHILD has unique learning patterns, traits, motivations, strengths, and needs, no two tools work the same and must be considered on an individual basis within their environment. To determine the most effective mode of communication for CHILD, ______ participated in trials of different types of AAC tools, to facilitate communication. Trials included in this PDF are lite-tech and high-tech equipment such as SGDs (speech generating devices.)

Note: This is in PDF format and not a Word format so you will have to copy it or try copy/pasting on the PDF with a generator and make it even easier to complete your AAC speech-language evaluation!

Do you need a Speech Language Evaluation that details the AAC Genie?

Here is a great example of a complete Speech Language Evaluation on a make-believe 12-year-old child who has autism (not a template). The make-believe child has a moderate delay in expressive language skills, receptive is average, moderate stutter (dysfluency), and a mild articulation delay. This one has a detailed AAC assessment included and a nice chart to guide you! Scores are included. The assessments in this evaluation are the REEL-3, SSI-3 (stuttering), GFTA-3, and AAC Genie assessment with examples of AAC tools, PECS, IPAD, professional recommendations, scores, and observations. Just plug in your goals. A helpful summary of what exact goals to put is in the description of the TPT listing to guide you in doing this and compiling the evaluation. Get it now! CLICK HERE
