Description

Limits mark the transition from Algebra to the Calculus. This suite can be used as an end of year unit or as a beginning of year unit for Precalculus or Calculus, respectively.
This unit is "short" because it doesn't belabor the lefthand and righthand limit concept and it doesn't present any theorems - just straight concepts with figures and calculations.
Limits are defined, indeterminate forms are examined, slope, tangent and derivative are discussed while antiderivative and definite integral are introduced.
The groundwork for the Fundamental Theorem is fully prepared here and should you choose to boost the rigor - the plans are fully editable.
