Whew! This discussion really gets them talking! This is classroom tested and comes with a "fire warning!" Questions that are particularly controversial or emotionally charged contain a flame icon (3). You may choose to eliminate these from discussion depending on the student's age, maturity, school environment.
Included are 13 main questions but each has at least one follow-up question to make sure students feel primed to speak and have options. These questions create lively discussions, but should be monitored by the teacher/professor. Consider fish bowl, socratic, large group, or smaller group discussions with practiced discussion leaders.
