Description

This unit is a perfect way to teach the Presidential election process at the level of elementary kids. Students are able to participate in a primary election, evaluate candidates based on what they want for the zoo, campaign for their party (barnyard or jungle) and conduct a final election. The concepts of electoral college, primary election, debate, speech, and political parties are covered at a very basic and understandable level. Vocabulary cards are able to be displayed as well as colorful posters.
