What educators are saying

This was a great resource for my 6th grade RLA class. The students were engaged and enjoyed it, thank you!
This was easily available to distribute to students. It gave them a visual to something that was overwhelming.

Description

Works Cited pages can be difficult for students. Who hasn't spent time grading essays wondering why students can't seem to master the skill of creating a correct Works Cited page, especially when they are taught it ever year?

This visual guide helps students understand the basics of the Works Cited Page with visuals. Visuals have been proven by research to be an effective way for students to learn and retain new material. Simply print this page off, have students add it to their writers' notebooks or binders for easy reference when it comes time to create the Works Cited page. All the common errors are covered.

In addition, you'll find classroom-tested teaching tips that will help you teach this skill effectively, as well as a practice Works Cited page filled with errors for your students to correct to make sure they have the basics.

I have also included that visual guide as an 18" x 24" poster. Simply follow the included printing instructions to print it off at home (some assembly required). Or take it to your local copy center and print it off there.
