A Literature Unit for Drew Daywalt's The Day The Crayons Quit

This unit was made to go with Drew Daywalt's The Day The Crayons Quit. Included are 17 pages of activities to challenge your students to think more deeply about the story. The unit was created with the 4th and 5th grade Common Core Standards in mind. Topics explored are point of view, theme, character traits, visualizing, text structure, plot, letter writing, comparing/contrasting, responding to quotes, and more.
