Description
This engaging three- or four-person reader’s theater play is for actors who read at different levels. In this skit, Bush Dog forgets Fox’s birthday, and needs to quickly find Fox the best gift. Bush Dog asks Sloth and Bat for help, but their present ideas are not suitable. At the end, Fox tells Bush Dog that being pals is the best gift of all. The characters of Bush Dog and Sloth read CVC words, sight words, and words with blends, digraphs, some suffixes, and long vowels. Fox acts sight words, CVC words, and words with blends, digraphs, and some words with contractions. Bat speaks sight words and CVC words. Sloth and Bat can be acted as two roles or combined into one character because they are never onstage at the same time. This product includes a printable script for all actors as well as highlighted versions and sight word sheets for each character.
