95 U.S. History Bellringers

These are 95 critical thinking U.S. History free response questions. These are sequenced chronologically for a post civil war semester. I allow my honors students five minutes to answer each question in paragraph form, and then we discuss it after. These are awesome! It can be challenging to come up with meaningful and relevant opening activities for class, and these are a great way to get things started! There are 95 different bellringers, so more than enough to fill half of your year on traditional schedule or a whole semester on block! Great openers!
