    Complete John Williams Unit:

    This unit is an exciting and meaningful way to educate your students on the enormous impact that John Williams has had on the world of film. In this unit, students will get to explore some of his best works- Superman, Jaws, E.T., Star Wars, Harry Potter, Jurassic Park, Indiana Jones and Home Alone.This unit includes 3 presentations full of companion worksheets, videos, opportunities for student engagement and more. This unit also comes with a review game, a unit description, an assessment and an assessment KEY.

    Music of the Cartoons Unit:

    Cartoons can be a fun and nostalgic way to teach about several different kinds of music, composers, instruments and more! This unit is a fun opportunity to teach your students about all different styles and genres of music. In each lesson students will dive into some of the most memorable cartoons and explore the makings of their music! While studying these cartoons, they will also have handouts to help them keep all their information organized. This unit includes three 55-minute presentations, worksheets, a complete review jeopardy game, a unit description, an assessment and answer keys.

    AI and Music Unit:

    AI has quickly changed the face of music and has sparked amazing interest from people of all ages. In this interactive unit, students will get a chance to experience first hand that impact that AI is having on music. This unit will spend two days exploring some of the largest ways that AI is impacting music with videos, website explorations and more. On the third lesson students will do compare and contrast exercises with AI singing covers and finally, on the fourth lesson, students will then use AI to create  their own musical creation(this is on UNBLOCKED sites so no having to worry about pesky student blocked pages!) To wrap up the unit, students will then take a unit quiz. This unit includes 4 Google slides, video examples, worksheets, review questions, a unit description and a final assessment with key!

    Grammy Award Winning Music Unit:

    This unit is a wonderful way to expose your students to some Grammy winning music and also elicit High Order Group Thinking Activities! In this unit, students will learn what a grammy is and how a grammy is nominated and won. Students will look at the five nominees in a particular grammy category. Each nominee will be assigned to a group of students. After each group has listened to samples from their nominee they must form an argument for the class on why their nominee should be the winner with the help of a handout. Each group will present their reasoning to the class and then the real winner will be announced. Each lesson comes with two grammy nominees that your students will study. This unit is a great way for students to listen to grammy music and develop their communication and persuasive writing skills! This unit includes four 50-minute presentations, a research lesson, worksheets, video examples and more!

    Music of War Unit:

    This engaging unit is a wonderful opportunity to tie in social studies into your music classroom! This unit teaches students of the variety of ways music has been used in war, from instruments used in war to songs sung about war and more! This engaging unit is sure to have a meaningful impact on your student and may coincide with which battles they may be studying in social studies. This unit includes four 50-minute presentations, worksheets, an assessment, opportunities for research, video examples, answer keys and more!

    Online Music Exploration Unit (No Student Tech Required):

    This unit is a super fun and educational unit that your students will love! The internet is a wonderful database full of educational and engaging music websites. In this website, you and your student will learn about important musical concepts such as rhythms, beats, instrumentation, timbre, sound frequency, electronic music, a cappella singing and so much more! In this unit, every day you will explore different sources of music. Your students will have companion guides to help them organize important information that was learned and will have opportunities for review. This lesson requires no tech and can be taught from a teacher presentation OR can be student led if students are given copies of these presentations and they have their own devices.  This unit includes four 50-minute presentations, 4 companion worksheets, a list of online sources, a unit description with standards, an assessment and answer keys.

    Instrument Families Unit:

    This unit is an engaging and exciting way to get your students educated on the ins and outs of the instrument family. This unit teaches the history of each instrument family, while also showing examples of how each family produces their sound. Students will also discover early instruments from each family and modern instruments that they will recognize. Each lesson comes with review, videos, pictures, and summarizing reflection exit tickets.  This unit includes 4 Google slide presentations, video examples, pictures, exit tickets, review worksheets, a unit description and a final assessment with key!

    Classical Composers Unit:
