Description

List of 75 picture books that can be used for drama and how to use them. I have personally used all of these books in my drama classes and all align with at least one National Theatre Standard. Books include a diverse range of characters, cultures, and authors.

Age ranges from PK-5th grade, though some could be inspiration for middle school devising as well. Database includes title, author, and ideas for use in the classroom. These stories can be used for creative problem-solving, theatre design activities, character perspective, comparing and contrasting stories, and more. Includes classic authors like Eric Carle and Ezra Keats as well as new popular authors like Matt de la Peña, Beth Woollvin, Mo Willems, and more!
