Description
I use these certificates during fitness testing. We give out certificates to the highest scoring boy and girl from each class. This creates a healthy spirit of competition in our gym and also awards students for excellent achievement.
At the end of each class during our fitness testing period we hold an "awards ceremony" for those students who scored the highest on each test. After giving them the certificate we ask them to give the class a helpful tip or one of their "secrets for success".
Giving out awards is a quick and easy way to motivate students and award excellent achievement.
It's also a great parent communication tool, because every student who receives an award will show it to their parents, which sheds a positive light on your Physical Education program.
