7 Principles of The Constitution - Lesson

Learning Intention: Students will learn about the Constitution of the United States, its foundational principles, governmental structure, protocol and operating procedures.

The lesson provides a beautifully designed outline to clarify the concepts for students with each CONSTITUTIONAL PRINCIPLE having next to it an adjacent box within which is a simplified DEFINITION and a third adjacent box showcasing an APPLICATION EXAMPLE (sometimes with multiple examples).

The 5th page provides sources of information ranging from the website of Congress and two top 10 Universities in the United States discussing the topic and its critical components further in detail for inquisitive learners.

Essential Questions: What are the 7 underlying principles of the Constitution? How do you define each principle and demonstrate them with examples?
