7 Minute Whiteboard Videos - Thanksgiving First Grade Review

These videos offer a quick, no-prep review that your students are going to love! Each student needs a whiteboard, marker, and eraser.

This set includes a variety of skills and is a great review for your first graders. Skills included are-

Perfect Place Settings (Capitalizing Names) - Someone wrote names for the place settings, but forgot to use capital letters! Can your students fix the names? I love this video because it also has the kids circle the capitals before they erase. Click here to see this video!

Missing Subtrahend (Counting Up Practice) - "There were 10 turkey legs. How many did she eat?" First, your kids will write the subraction sentence that matches the word problem and picture. Next, they will solve it by counting up. I love how this video gives them time to think and attempt each step then walks them through it. Place Value Peas (2-digit Numbers) - There are ten peas in a bowl and and single peas on a spoon. Can your kids write how many there are in all before the answer is shown? Click here to see a preview of this video.

Solve it! Draw it! Addition to 15 - This is always a class favorite! It's like directed drawing with a math twist. Solve the math fact to determine which detail to add next. At the end, it shows what the picture should look like if you got all the math facts right. Click here to see it!

Missing Addends to 12 - We see addition sentences (both vertically and horitzontally) with missing addends. Can your students write the addition sentence with the correct number before it's revealed? Click here to see a preview of this video.

Colorful Turkeys - "The turkeys are running away! If you see a turkey, remember what color it was." This is such a fun way to practice writing color words. I love the way words are spelled out when kids check their answers. Click here to see this
