What educators are saying

Thank you! This is exactly what I needed to organize my math lessons and notes for students. I like that they are engaging for the students and have visual appeal.

    Description

This bundle includes all of my 6th grade math printable lessons (notes/practice/exit ticket)! This is OVER 95 math lessons for the entire year! This bundle includes all six 6th grade math units that are listed in my store at a discount!

Over 1300 pages of print and go materials for the entire year! This includes the answer keys. Please see the descriptions of each of the resources in the bundles for specifics! Checkout the individual units below:

    Arithmetic Operations - 189 pages

    Ratios & Rates - 315 pages

    Rational Numbers - 197 pages

    Expressions & Equations - 298 pages

    Geometry - 167 pages

    Statistics & Probability - 149 pages

The following are included for EACH topic:

    • Notes
    • Practice
    • Exit Ticket
    • Warm Up for Flipped Classroom (same as Exit Ticket)
    • Google Docs Link (Editable)

Notes are guided and include fill in the blanks, blank areas for work and note taking, and a "try it yourself" section at the end of the notes. The Practice and Exit Ticket align with the guided notes. This resource aligns with the Engage NY & Eureka Math curriculum of the New York State Sixth Grade Math Modules and NYS standards. Teachers can use this as a stand alone resource or in conjunction with the New York State Module.

Answer keys are provided! These are in color and have full explanations of answers, not just the answer. See an example in the thumbnail of each product listing.

This file is a PDF document. A Google Docs link is provided for each unit. Please be sure to make a copy of the Google Doc and save the copy in your own Google Drive. This resource is only editable in Google Docs once you make a copy.

Videos are NOT included in this resource. My lesson videos follow along perfectly with these guided notes sheets! They also work great with my practice sheets, exit tickets, and warm up sheets that are included in this resource! Checkout this unit's videos in my store.

PLEASE NOTE: This is newly updated with a more reasonable price point and each unit in one file (six files for the whole year)! This will be so much easier to print and go.

I used this item in my own 6th grade math classroom! If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out to me on TpT or via email at luckyinmath@gmail.com :)

Find the area of right triangles, other triangles, special quadrilaterals, and polygons by composing into rectangles or decomposing into triangles and other shapes; apply these techniques in the context of solving real-world and mathematical problems.
Find the volume of a right rectangular prism with fractional edge lengths by packing it with unit cubes of the appropriate unit fraction edge lengths, and show that the volume is the same as would be found by multiplying the edge lengths of the prism. Apply the formulas 𝘝 = 𝘭 𝘸 𝘩 and 𝘝 = 𝘣 𝘩 to find volumes of right rectangular prisms with fractional edge lengths in the context of solving real-world and mathematical problems.
Draw polygons in the coordinate plane given coordinates for the vertices; use coordinates to find the length of a side joining points with the same first coordinate or the same second coordinate. Apply these techniques in the context of solving real-world and mathematical problems.
Represent three-dimensional figures using nets made up of rectangles and triangles, and use the nets to find the surface area of these figures. Apply these techniques in the context of solving real-world and mathematical problems.
Recognize a statistical question as one that anticipates variability in the data related to the question and accounts for it in the answers. For example, β€œHow old am I?” is not a statistical question, but β€œHow old are the students in my school?” is a statistical question because one anticipates variability in students’ ages.
