What educators are saying

Very nice that it incorporates many aspects of math. My students found this activity fun and competitive!

Description

This 6 week long projects includes weekly homework (common core aligned) and budget practice. The work that students complete is at a third grade level and allows kids to take a deep dive into how money really works and how it impacts people's lives, and critically thing about topics like taxes. Each week after completing their "work" they'll get a weekly income that they'll decide how to spend. Keep an eye out for "Uh ohs" like a car repair cost that you'll be required to pay that week, just like in real life.

This project is perfect for kids within gifted and talented, scholars who need a little extra push or challenge, or 3rd grade level kids!
