5th Grade Solve & Draw Math Bundle

Solve & Draw activities make math review work and practice more engaging than a traditional worksheet. You can put a new spin on color-by-number or mystery drawings and channel your students' love for doodling and drawing. These activities are also designed to provide practice for reading math directions and breaking down multi-step word problems. These are intended to be a challenge or review activity.

How Solve & Draw Activities Work:

Students solve the math problem and are directed on what to add to the drawing based on their answer, similar to a color-by-number. However, they have more freedom to individualize and some students do a quick sketch while others put detail and their own style to the drawing! Both are fine as the drawing only supports the math practice. For students who are resistant to drawing you can even modify and allow them to answer the math problems without drawing.
