Description

5th Grade Reading Enrichment Research Projects for the Entire Year! Thirty-two weekly non-fiction reading enrichment projects in which students research topics and then answer the follow-up questions. The questions, not only check for comprehension of the topic researched, but review common reading text structures such as author's purpose, tone, mood, theme, compare/contrast, plot, cause and effect and more. Aligned to most 5th grade reading curriculum including STAAR/CCSS. Great for early finishers and as a challenge for advanced readers. Also a great opportunity to integrate technology in the classroom.

Perfectly suitable for distance learning as well.

For example: when studying a rainforest; the students will research the climate, habitat, natural resources and other attributes to research the answers to interesting hot topic questions.
