5th Grade Math and ELA Word Wall Vocabulary Cards English & Spanish Bundle

If you have Spanish speaking ELL students in your classroom, it can be a challenge to make grade level content accessible. This bilingual math and ELA vocabulary resource is a time saver that can aid in comprehension and reinforce important concepts. 

163 words from the Common Core Reading, Writing and Math Standards for 5th grade are included. The bilingual cards contain a vocabulary word written in English and Spanish, as well as, a picture explanation. The Spanish translations and visuals included allow students to activate prior knowledge and make connections to form meaning. 

The cards are categorized by topic and are COLOR coded! The topics included are:

Use the cards as a teaching tool in a whole or small group lesson to introduce vocabulary students will learn. You can also use the cards to review before an assessment or activity by playing “heads up” or another fun review game!

The words will be accessible for students promoting independence and familiarity. The more familiar students are with the words the more confident they will become!

Students can create a personal dictionary in their notebooks with the note taking pages and vocabulary worksheet included. Use as a morning work or end of lesson activity for students to gain more practice with the vocabulary.
