What educators are saying

This was an amazing resource that me and my students loved very much. We had no problems at all! It was a great resource and I would definitely use to again!
I love that there was little prep work on my part, but the kids love using these task cards. Students feel as if these are fun games especially in reviewing content.

Description

Use these 20 geometry task cards to give your students the extra practice they need to learn how to classify two-dimensional shapes based on their properties and attributes. The task cards include hierarchies, tables, flow charts, identifying shapes based on attributes and much more. The answer key and a student recording sheet is included.
You can use these cards for a whole class game, for tutoring, quiz question, or use as a math center.
Bonus! I've included a page that has the cover page and answer key the same size as the task cards, so you can place the whole set on a binder ring for independent practice.
These task cards are aligned with:

TEK 5.5
The student is expected to classify two-dimensional figures by their attributes and properties.
CCSS.MATH.CONTENT.5.G.B.3
Understand that attributes belonging to a category of two-dimensional figures also belong to all subcategories of that category. For example, all rectangles have four right angles and squares are rectangles, so all squares have four right angles.. CCSS.MATH.CONTENT.5.G.B.4
Classify two-dimensional figures in a hierarchy based on properties.

I include how to use the task cards in my class, but there are so many ways you can use them! In this set you can find color and black and white options.
I hope you enjoy!
