Description

I grew tired of using the same generic reading log week after week in my classroom, so I decided to create three separate logs that can be alternated and work together to facilitate comprehension!

This product features 3 separate weekly reading logs (4 nights per week: Monday/Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday). The questions to help student accountability are all aligned with fifth grade common core standards for reading literary. There is a section on each date for:
-Book Title & Author
-Pages Read
-Response to Question
-Time Read
-Parent/Adult Signature

Reading logs are set apart by A, B, or C and each have a different border to easily alternate them. The logs are designed to be printed front/back, so each student gets one hand out per week.

You are welcome to also download the FREE book log that I created in order to increase student motivation and help them keep track of what they have read.

Standards

to see state-specific standards (only available in the US).
Count to 100 by ones and by tens.
Count forward beginning from a given number within the known sequence (instead of having to begin at 1).
Write numbers from 0 to 20. Represent a number of objects with a written numeral 0-20 (with 0 representing a count of no objects).
Understand the relationship between numbers and quantities; connect counting to cardinality.
Understand that the last number name said tells the number of objects counted. The number of objects is the same regardless of their arrangement or the order in which they were counted.
