Description

This maze is a fun and unique way for your class to cover Operations and Algebraic Thinking core standard 5.OA.A.1!

Students LOVE mazes - they are a welcome change of pace. Traditional worksheets are so boring!

Your class will work their way through the 4x4 maze by solving 12 of the 16 expressions. Students will solve expressions containing some combination of addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and parentheses.

None of the expressions have exponents. Most expressions have one set of parentheses, some have two sets of parentheses, and other expressions have no parentheses.

The included worksheet comes with both a 12 and 16 question option so you can instruct your students to solve the remaining four expressions after they have solved the maze.

Try after a test or quiz to give your students something to do while they are waiting.

This is an easy print & go activity. It comes with a worksheet and an answer key.

Just print it! There is nothing else for you to do! Give yourself an easy day while giving your class a relaxing way to practice core standard 5.OA.A.1!
