These are 50 "Finding the Main Idea" nonfiction Task Cards! They can be used in the classroom as whole group, small group, partner activities, and even for individual practice. They are all multiple choice and allow the student to be exposed to 50 different nonfiction short passages.
My students use these as morning work each morning. I have multiple sets of task cards focused on different topics. Students choose a partner and "flash" until the bell rings. It has helped them tremendously and doesn't force me to have extra paper work.
I would suggest to print in color, laminate, cut, and use! You could also print on thick paper and skip the lamination.
