What educators are saying

My student really looked forward to doing these activities. They get to refresh and learn each day. Super engaging and perfect for anytime. Thank you for making it. Will continue to buy each year
My students do this in the morning while we get ready to start. My principal loves it because it covers all four subjects, not just math and grammar skills.

The data tracking guide lets you identify areas of strength and focus on standards that need additional review for each student.

    This Bundle Includes:

⭐️ 180 days of 4th Grade Morning Work

⭐️ Data Tracking Guides for each day

⭐️ End-of-Quarter quizzes for each subject.

    ⭐️ Answer Keys

You can check the 4th grade morning work each day and fill out the guide OR you can print  it for each quarter, along with the data tracking guides and put them in a folder.  Students can track the data by highlighting questions they missed.  This will also allow students to work ahead or take home as needed.

Research is a key skill needed.  The science and social studies questions allow students to practice identifying keywords and using resources to search for information.  This allows students the ability to preview and review standards that are taught. This is great practice for testing where students need to identify the keyword of a question and read to find the answer.  No matter how your state standards align on the science and social studies topics, your students will be able to search for these key topics.

Download the 4th Grade Morning Work preview for two free weeks and data tracking guides for the year.

Apply the area and perimeter formulas for rectangles in real world and mathematical problems. For example, find the width of a rectangular room given the area of the flooring and the length, by viewing the area formula as a multiplication equation with an unknown factor.
Make a line plot to display a data set of measurements in fractions of a unit (1/2, 1/4, 1/8). Solve problems involving addition and subtraction of fractions by using information presented in line plots. For example, from a line plot find and interpret the difference in length between the longest and shortest specimens in an insect collection.
Fluently add and subtract within 1000 using strategies and algorithms based on place value, properties of operations, and/or the relationship between addition and subtraction.
Multiply one-digit whole numbers by multiples of 10 in the range 10–90 (e.g., 9 × 80, 5 × 60) using strategies based on place value and properties of operations.
Fluently add and subtract multi-digit whole numbers using the standard algorithm.
