What educators are saying

I love these activities, as do my students! They are such a great way to review skills that we covered in class as well as provide students with an opportunity to work together.
This is a great resource. I have used all the math digital escapes. I use the escapes as a review at the end of the units. They are so engaging for the kids. They always ask when we can do another one!

What is a digital escape room?

A digital escape room is an online game that begins with a theme or scenario. Students work collaboratively in teams of 2 or 3 or independently in order to escape. They are challenged to solve puzzles to find clues and codes. These breakouts each have 4 codes to break. Escape rooms are fun and engaging for students and they LOVE them!

This escape room is meant to be challenging and should take your students 45 minutes to an hour to complete, depending on their ability levels.

Know relative sizes of measurement units within one system of units including km, m, cm; kg, g; lb, oz.; l, ml; hr, min, sec. Within a single system of measurement, express measurements in a larger unit in terms of a smaller unit. Record measurement equivalents in a two-column table. For example, know that 1 ft is 12 times as long as 1 in. Express the length of a 4 ft snake as 48 in. Generate a conversion table for feet and inches listing the number pairs (1, 12), (2, 24), (3, 36),...
Read and write multi-digit whole numbers using base-ten numerals, number names, and expanded form. Compare two multi-digit numbers based on meanings of the digits in each place, using >, =, and < symbols to record the results of comparisons.
Use place value understanding to round multi-digit whole numbers to any place.
Fluently add and subtract multi-digit whole numbers using the standard algorithm.
Multiply a whole number of up to four digits by a one-digit whole number, and multiply two two-digit numbers, using strategies based on place value and the properties of operations. Illustrate and explain the calculation by using equations, rectangular arrays, and/or area models.
