What educators are saying

I used this for students that I didn't previously work with. It gave me a good sense of their skills.

Description

Beginning of the year math assessments are important to help you understand what each student mastered from the previous year (and still remember after the summer!) and to effectively meet the needs of your new students. In addition, it combines pure and applied problems to gather information on their problem solving skills.

Please note - this is the same assessment as the End of Year 3rd Grade Assessment in my store - you do not need to purchase both.

The math reflection is to provide you with information on how your students view themselves as mathematicians and of math in general.

There is a spreadsheet included so you can compile the students' performance into a whole class overview.
