Learn to round numbers to the nearest ten, hundred and thousand with Freddy Frog. This SMARTboard lesson and printables teaches students to round numbers by first using a number line and then using a rhyme. Students learn how to use a goal (box) and soccer ball (circle) to round to the nearest 10, 100 and 1,000.

The lesson includes:

• rounding activities with a number line
• rules for rounding using a rhyme
• self-checking practice using the rules
• self-checking practice with word problems
• rounding to the tens with a "rounding goal"
• printable activities for follow-up using a number line
