What educators are saying

I teach third grade general education in my classroom. I will continue to use this resource in the future. The design of the resource was great.
This resource was very helpful when teaching Line Plot Measurement! The students were highly engaged!

Description

This no frills practice is designed specifically for 3.MD.4:

Generate measurement data by measuring lengths using rulers marked with halves and fourths of an inch. Show the data by making a line plot, where the horizontal scale is marked off in appropriate units— whole numbers, halves, or quarters.

Your students will need a 6 (or 12) inch ruler to measure the lines.

There are 6 “no frills” worksheets:

2 pages with 20 lines randomly oriented
2 pages with 10 horizontal lines
2 pages with 20 horizontal lines

Suggestions for use:

*Do one version in class & send the other home for practice
*Print an answer sheet for students to check their own work
*Do one version now and save one for review later in the year
*Use the simpler versions to differentiate
