WHAT TEACHERS THINK OF THIS BUNDLE:

β™₯ β€œThis is an incredible resource that would have taken me HOURS to make myself. It will be easy to differentiate and so helpful for my students!” - Lauren B.

β™₯ β€œAbsolutely love! They are differentiated which is great and the recording sheet is so detailed that students are really understanding the task card and the process they took to solve it.” - Joelle D.

β™₯ β€œI cannot say enough good things about this resource (and Core Inspiration's entire Math Workshop routine). The questions are thought-provoking, the answering method is genius, and the entire practice creates a focused problem-solving strategy for the younger elementary set. In fact, I am going to be using these cards (along with some I will have to write) in my 4th grade classroom next year. For kids (like the 3rd grade class matriculating at my school) who have never been asked to do this kind of problem solving, I think these cards will probably be challenging enough! I only wish Laura Santos taught 4th grade as well :) I would use exclusively her products for my class. I am so excited to have found these resources.” - β€œSamantha S.

β™₯ β€œI really enjoy this and the math problems are great for making students think! Really worth the purchase!” - Megan M.

    Standards

to see state-specific standards (only available in the US).
Tell and write time to the nearest minute and measure time intervals in minutes. Solve word problems involving addition and subtraction of time intervals in minutes, e.g., by representing the problem on a number line diagram.
Measure and estimate liquid volumes and masses of objects using standard units of grams (g), kilograms (kg), and liters (l). Add, subtract, multiply, or divide to solve one-step word problems involving masses or volumes that are given in the same units, e.g., by using drawings (such as a beaker with a measurement scale) to represent the problem.
Draw a scaled picture graph and a scaled bar graph to represent a data set with several categories. Solve one- and two-step β€œhow many more” and β€œhow many less” problems using information presented in scaled bar graphs. For example, draw a bar graph in which each square in the bar graph might represent 5 pets.
Generate measurement data by measuring lengths using rulers marked with halves and fourths of an inch. Show the data by making a line plot, where the horizontal scale is marked off in appropriate units-whole numbers, halves, or quarters.
Recognize area as an attribute of plane figures and understand concepts of area measurement.
