Description

This affords a vehicle for teachers to use for developing 3D spatial skills.

This appears difficult and in the latter cases of the problems, it is a mental puzzle. However, I used to MODEL and work these with my self-contained 5th grade class, and they can do it.

There are recommendations. The teacher must practice until they are extremely adept at the process. I strongly recommend using interlocking cube blocks to build these isometric three (3) Dimensional figures PRIOR to working them mentally.

This methodology is how universities train freshman level engineering students, and many struggle since there is not much exposure prior to that class level.

This type of resource is easily used by a teacher instructing TAG (Talented and Gifted) Students or a STEM class - as well as students that are academically high as an individual incentive project.

With practice, students become very, very adept at this developing the orthographic projections - 2D from a 3D isometric shape.

Best to you and your kiddos.
