3D Chinese Pagoda and Water Garden Tutorial

This year marks the Chinese Year of the Dragon, and to celebrate, we present an exciting art & craft activity focused on constructing a Chinese pagoda and water garden. This original project offers numerous opportunities for expansion through additional research and design tasks to enhance knowledge and learning.

Collaborative Class Project

The project is designed as a collaborative class effort. The included task sheet breaks down each activity into sections, listing required materials and skills. This allows teachers to allocate tasks effectively.

Templates for all the elements which require cutting out are provided as A3 printables. This is an ambitious and exciting project involves all students regardless of age or skill level. As the project nears completion, students will experience an immense sense of pride. A step-by-step tutorial is provided for teachers to demonstrate each task to students. This project requires an enthusiastic and passionate art teacher to orchestrate and showcase their talents, creating a centerpiece for a multicultural all year round Chinese display.
