Description
Teaching students to structure solid arguments is vital to winning a debate round! However, they must understand the three parts of an argument before building their case (claim, warrant, and impact).
This activity explains the three parts of an argument (claim, warrant, and impact), compares a weak vs. strong argument, and leaves room for the students to write their own argument (based on a resolution/topic provided by the teacher).
