Description
Teaching the three branches of the U.S. government is an essential part of the U.S. History or Civics curriculum. This product is a concise and effective way of teaching the three branches of government. It can be used to meet the needs of all learners. There are a variety of activities included!

- Reading passage: a one page reading passage about the 3 branches of government
- Graphic organizer: students can use to take notes as they read or to summarize what they learned after they have read
- Sorting Activity: students sort details about the Legislative, Executive, and Judicial branches
- Task cards: Students analyze scenarios and apply what they have learned
- Review questions: students can summarize the important ideas they have learned

This is also a great product to use if you are out of the classroom and have a substitute teacher covering your class. There's no prep work involved!
