Description

Santa has left for his around the world journey on Christmas Eve night. Unfortunately, in all the hustle and bustle, Santa forgot his map! It's your job to solve common core aligned math problems to reveal the coordinates for each continent. This cross curricular activity will teach students about the culture, landmarks, and interesting facts about each continent as Santa stops to admire the Eiffel Tower and other famous places along the way. Students use "Santa's Coordinate Cheat Sheet" to help discover where to go next. Students will see visuals throughout the activity teaching them world geography, mapping, and even latitude/longitude.
