I am so excited to offer you all of my morning work packets for 2nd grade! These have been a hit in my classroom all year long! I have the September - June. It will be offered at a discounted price until June is finished - then the price will go up.
There is one page for EVERY day of the month (including December and January, I didn't not shorten it up even if there are some classes that are not in session for winter break). Please look at each packet to see more detailed information :) I have also included a different cover for each month that says "extra practice" instead if you do not wish to use it as morning work.
A lot of the Common Core Standards are addressed in these packets. I have worked very hard to provide the best product possible. In these packets you will cover the following {there is A LOT!}

- 3d focus (finding edges, corners, faces and naming each shape)
-2d focus with naming the shape, counting corners and sides.
- Phonics (finish the word, word families, rhyming words etc)
- Choosing the correct tense for each sentence (i.e. ran vs. run)
- Money {US only} "how much is there?" and also drawing pictures to make the amount.
- practicing contractions (what two words make up this contraction)
-fixing the sentence
- short vowel sounds
- long vowel sounds
- Reading graphs
- +10, -10, +100, -100 from a 3 digit number
- rounding to the nearest 100 in a 3 digit AND 4 digit number
- counting the syllables in each word
- word find with sight words
- ABC order with words
- missing addends with addition and subtraction
- what numbers come before or after (3 and 4 digit numbers only)
- Time (both telling it to the 5 minute and creating the time).
-Comprehension questions (read the sentence and then choose the correct meaning of the underlined word).
- Phonics (finish the word, word families, rhyming words etc)
- Money {US only} "how much is there?" and also drawing pictures to make the amount.
- Place value {mystery number}
- practicing sufixes
- adding with no regrouping double digit numbers
