Description

This 2nd grade math centers pack is a Geometry resource to use when teaching 2D and 3D shapes, partitioning, simple fractions, and more. All of the second grade Common Core Geometry standards are all covered in each of these centers.

These are in black and white to save your ink! I print on colored paper to make them colorful for the kiddos.

Partition a rectangle into rows and columns of same-size squares and count to find the total number of them.

CCSS.Math.Content.2.G.A.3 (2.G.3)

Partition circles and rectangles into two, three, or four equal shares, describe the shares using the words halves, thirds, half of, a third of, etc., and describe the whole as two halves, three thirds, four fourths. Recognize that equal shares of identical wholes need not have the same shape.
