Description
This 2nd grade math standards-based making arrays and repeated addition unit focuses on the Common Core math standards 2.OA.4. This asks students to count rows, columns, and total objects in an array, plus create a repeated addition problem to represent the array. There are daily lesson plans, whole group activities, partner practice activities, MATH group centers, exit slips, and assessments.

Use addition to find the total number of objects arranged in rectangular arrays with up to 5 rows and up to 5 columns; write an equation to express the total as a sum of equal addends.
The 2.OA.4 activities that are included in my short answer, centers, printables, and interactive notebooks are similar but have all been changed to fit these lesson plans. The short answers have different prompts and are now part of MATH groups, the printables & interactive notebooks have been updated and are used during the 'Apply new skills' part of MATH groups.
