2012 A Year in Pictures Writing Set- New Years Writing Activity

Looking for a fun way to reflect on 2012? Have students bring in a picture of the best thing that happened in 2012. They can use the picture to talk with a classmate about what was happening in the picture. This is their oral pre write. Then students write about the photo and why it represents the best thing from 2012. This writing set includes paper for them to write their final copy on and a simple to use rubric to grade their written work.
