Description

I am so excited about my latest Smartboard product! Enhance your daily math routine by incorporating this interactive Daily Spiral Math product to your lessons:)

Each day students are given the opportunity through Whole Group Math Chats to collaboratively answer 4 questions on the Smartboard. Each day has a specific set of 4 questions that are repeated each week (with each subsequent week, concepts and skills and deepened to provide continued practice on skills in a spiraled format). Extend this product and your student learning by using this as reinforcement during Math Stations (great for small groups/partners or indvidual students to use while you are working with other groups).

With engaging graphics, interactive activities, weekly themes and pull tabs for self-checking, this Smartboard pack will be sure to be a class favorite with the kids and will ensure that you are covering all of the concepts needed to provide your students with a well rounded math knowledge.

EXTRA BENEFITS FROM THIS PRODUCT: No PREP, No PRINTING, No PAPER; Use year after year; impress your administrators with your alignment to Math Standards as well as your interactive use of technology!

Aligned with the common core, this product works as well for states and provinces that do not use the common core as the concepts/skills are ones that are taught universally in first grade. In addition to first grade Common Core standards, Supplemental Foundational and Maintenance Skills are also included for continued practice and to ensure students are reinforcing concepts learned in Kindergarten and staying fresh for concepts reintroduced in 2nd grade.

Concepts by Day (These concepts will be the same across all 6 week packs, and will grow and deepen in subsequent weeks as students are ready for them - for example in the first 6 weeks on Mondays there are only questions with Missing Addends, but going into the 2nd 6 weeks, students will practice Missing Subtrahends; and for the first 6 weeks in Calendar Skills the focus is on questions relating to Days of the Week, whereas concepts will get more challenging in the 2nd 6 weeks)

Mondays: Addition, Place Value, Missing Addends/Subtrahends, Comparing and Ordering

Tuesdays: Subtraction, Fractions, Number Words, Patterns

Wednesdays: Odd/Even, Skip Counting, Missing Symbols, Geometry

Thursdays: Adding 3 Digits, Measurement, Money, Data/Graphing

Fridays: Related Facts, Telling Time, Word Problems, Calendar Skills

Themes by Week (each week I used clip art based on a particular theme to add more fun - they are SERIOUSLY so cute - while the math concepts stay the same)

Week 1 - Shapes

Week 2 - Snacks

Week 3 - Safari Animals

Week 4 - Flowers

Week 5 - Insects

Week 6 - Fruit

***Keep your eye out for the 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th and 6th Six Week Smartboard Packs that will be coming to my store soon!!!!

While this is a product designed for 1st grade specifically, 2nd grade teachers may find it useful in reviewing concepts and providing for additional independent and small group practice as reinforcement for students working to build confidence.

As always, this Smartboard file was made with Smart Notebook software. You must have the Notebook software that comes with your Smartboard to open this. If you have a different interactive whiteboard and think you can convert the file, you are encouraged to download one of the freebies in my store to try it out before purchasing this product. I have tons of freebies. Make sure you open it on your school computer with the software rather than on your phone or personal computer as it will only open on a computer that has the software.
