15 Story Cubes - Roll a Creative Narrative Story

Do you have some students who are stuck for ideas when writing? Do you see a lot of repetitive stories from uninspired writers? Do you want add some creativity and imagination to the writing process?

These story cubes are a great way of inspiring creative narrative writing!

How do they work?

• students can assemble the cubes themselves (print regular size for a large cube or 4 on a page for mini-cubes)
• then, students roll 1 characters cube, 1 setting cube and 1 important object cube and develop a story by connecting these elements together

Will it be a pirate king at the shopping mall with a bag a money?

A deep sea creature at grandma's house with a pet cobra?

Maybe a half-man half-octopus in your bedroom with a crying baby?

Students will love filling in the gaps of these creative, silly and imaginative stories!
