What Task Card Activities are included?
Each Phonic Skill will have 10 activities. Each activity will include 12 task cards.
- (12) Map the Sound Cards - Students work on their phonemic awareness skills as they map each sound in a word.
- (12) Missing Letter Sounds - Students work on identifying and writing beginning, medial, ending sounds or all sounds.
- (12) Sound Out, Blend and Match Cards - Students work on segmenting and blending words. They show comprehension by identifying the correct picture.
- (12) Map and Graphic Cards- Students work on word mapping skills.
- (12) Roll, Graph and Write Cards- Students roll a die, say the word, graph the word, and write the word on the line.
- (12) Segment and Blend Cards- Students work on segmenting and blending words.
- (12) Read and Match- Students show comprehension by reading the word and drawing a line to match it to the picture.
- (12) Tiny Roll and Read Cards- Students work to correctly read the words in each column.
- (12) Tiny I Spy Games! Students read the word, search for the picture and circle it.
- (12) Roll and Read Games- Students work on fluency practice with these games. Roll a die and read the word while playing with a partner.

How do I prepare the task cards?
Print and laminate the task cards. Cut along the dotted lines. There are 4 task cards per page. Place the task cards into a photo box or in a bin of some sort. Each skill and activity includes a cover label and simple student direction card.
